Computer Vision Development

Turn images and video into operational decisions

Klandestin develops computer vision systems for inspection, detection, OCR, and video analysis. We test against the cameras, lighting, motion, hardware, and response times the system will face after deployment.

Accuracy needs context

A benchmark score cannot tell you how a camera system behaves during a shift change, under glare, or when an object is partly hidden. We define acceptable misses and false alarms, capture representative data, and test the complete path from camera to action.

Computer vision applications

Visual quality inspection

Detect surface issues, missing components, assembly errors, and packaging defects at the point where teams can respond.

Object detection and tracking

Locate, count, and follow selected objects across images or video while accounting for occlusion and scene changes.

OCR and document vision

Extract structured fields from forms, labels, invoices, IDs, and operational documents with validation rules.

Video analytics

Measure events, movement, occupancy, or process stages with privacy and retention controls suited to the environment.

Cloud, private, or edge deployment

Site and data assessment

We inspect image quality, camera position, lighting, network limits, privacy requirements, and existing labels.

Proof with representative data

A focused model is tested on difficult real examples and measured against the decisions it must support.

System integration

Inference connects to cameras, applications, alerts, and review queues with the required latency and throughput.

Monitoring and retraining

Teams can review errors, capture new edge cases, and track model behavior as products or conditions change.

Computer vision questions

How much training data is required?

It depends on variation in the scene, object, and decision boundary. We start with a data audit and a small representative set before estimating the full labeling effort.

Can the model run without sending video to the cloud?

Yes. Edge or on-premise inference can keep footage inside the site and reduce network latency, provided the selected hardware can run the model.

Can you connect to existing cameras?

Often, yes. We first check stream format, resolution, frame rate, placement, and whether the footage provides enough detail for the target task.

How do you handle privacy?

We minimize collected data, define retention rules, restrict access, and can process video locally. The final controls depend on the use case and applicable law.
